Ex-OMGI multi-asset managers Ventre and Zagamé resurface with boutique launch

John Ventre and François Zagamé, former fund managers in Old Mutual Global Investors' multi-asset arm, have returned to the industry with their own boutique aimed at providing financial advisers with bespoke investment solutions.

Kallcap Solutions has been set up in partnership with wealth management business SCD & Co, which has £20m in assets under management in existing OEICs - the IM SCDavies Global Equity, Global Fixed Income and Global Alternatives funds - that have been run for advisers since 2010.  Zagamé is to become co-portfolio manager on the funds alongside SCD's CEO Paul Denley and associate director Richard Morrison, while Ventre is strategic consultant taking a commercial and propositions role which, he said, now interests him more than fund management.
