Standard Life Investments' MyFolio team, headed up by Bambos Hambi, have added exposure to global corporate bonds for the first time since the £10bn fund range was launched in 2012.
In its quarterly review, the firm said it had made two changes to its long-term strategy allocation, which has a ten-year time horizon, in order to improve the prospects for returns. This is only the fourth time the strategy has changed its long-term allocations since the range was launched seven years ago, compared to its tactical positions which have a time horizon of only three to 18 months and are therefore changed more regularly.
