Ruffer appoints former PwC partner as non-exec director to board

Ruffer has appointed Fleur Meijs, who previously spent nearly two decades at PwC, as a non-executive director on its board.

Meijs will join in February 2018, having spent nearly 20 years at PwC which she left in May. At PwC, she was a partner in the financial services team where she specialised in advisory projects for investment banks. She is also a non-executive director for the Fidelity European Values trust and the Invesco Asia trust. The group's board consists of nine people, although Ruffer co-founder Earl Ferrers is currently the only other non-executive director.
