LGIM adds fourth equity income fund with European mandate

Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) has expanded its equity income range with a European Equity Income fund, managed by Andrew Koch.

Koch joined LGIM in 2014 and was previously manager of the firm's £268m UK Equity Income fund, which was handed over to Stephen Message last October.  The European Equity Income fund, which was launched in December, invests in European companies excluding the UK, and aims to generate a yield above the market while maintaining a long-term total return mindset. This is the fourth fund in the firm's equity income range which already consists of the £563m Real Income Builder fund, £268m UK Equity Income fund and £391m Asian Income Trust.
