Greenwood: The themes driving Miton Global Opps fund performance

Miton's Nick Greenwood, manager of the £79m Global Opportunities fund, has highlighted the key positions that have helped boost the performance of his trust of trusts, which is top of the AIC Flexible Investment sector.

Both India and residential property in Berlin have been long-term favourite themes of Greenwood's to which he has gained exposure through his top two holdings for some time. These are the closed-ended India Capital Growth fund and the Taliesin Property fund, which represented 6.8% and 8.4% of his portfolio respectively as at November 2017. Although the manager feels Taliesin's run may be coming to an end following its acquisition by Blackstone, he is still excited about India's prospects.
