Allianz Global Investors is bringing its €64m Structured Alpha US Equity 250 strategy to the UK market.
The launch means investors in the UK and Continental Europe can now access the fund, which targets an annual return above 2.5% by combining passive investment in the S&P 500 Index with an actively managed options overlay. Call and put options are traded in the portfolio with the aim of generating additional returns while also hedging the fund against extreme events.
