SharingAlpha unveils top-rated funds by global selectors in 2017

SharingAlpha has revealed the 25 best-rated funds in different investment categories by its fund buyer users last year.

The ratings are based on a unique methodology in which SharingAlpha's growing community of professional buyers are asked to rate funds based on their chances of generating alpha in the future. In return, the raters are later ranked according to their fund selection capabilities. Described by founders Oren and Yuval Kaplan as "Morningstar meets TripAdvisor", funds on the SharingAlpha service are assessed based on the average rating provided by fund selectors worldwide using qualitative parameters.  Factors considered include fees, capacity and active share, instead of focusing solely o...
