The UK government has been criticised by City executives for failing to publish a long-expected paper on financial services' position on Brexit, which has been postponed indefinitely.

The paper, which City figures said was promised to them in Autumn 2017, is intended to set out the UK's negotiating position and trade goals for financial services after leaving the EU. Delivery of the paper has been delayed repeatedly and ministers are now considering not publishing it at all, according to the FT.
