Fidelity poaches Pioneer's Prendergast for global product role

Fidelity has appointed Hugh Prendergast from Pioneer Investments as global head of product, a newly-created role.

Previously, Prendergast spent 16 years at Pioneer in a variety of roles including head of strategic product and marketing, and head of institutional portfolio management.
