BlackRock expands high yield range with fixed maturity bond fund

BlackRock Investment Management has launched a high yield fixed maturity bond fund in response to investor demand for alternative and more diversified sources of income.

The BSF USD High Yield Fixed Maturity Bond fund is a fixed term high yield bond strategy with an expected five-year maturity. It will employ a buy, hold and maintain strategy, while aiming to deliver regular income. Registered for sale in the UK and several other markets, it hopes to do this while providing improved downside protection and mitigated volatility versus the broad US high yield market.
