High-profile changes to Franklin Templeton's EM roster

Franklin Templeton has revealed changes to the make-up and roles of its emerging markets team, following the announcement lead portfolio manager of the Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust (TEMIT) Carlos Hardenberg is set to depart.

Manraj Sekhon appointment as CIO of emerging markets equity coincides with a raft of changes in the asset class's senior leadership team, which will be organised by strategy type, with directors overseeing global emerging markets, Asia, frontier and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
