Advisers' business development manager (BDM) preferences have been revealed for a third year, following publication of the 2017/18 study on the area by financial services recruiter BWD.
The firm's BDM Quality Census 2017/18 identified advisers' favourite field and tele-based BDMs across four categories - life and insurance groups, investment providers, platforms and discretionary fund managers (DFMs). Royal London emerged at the top of the field-based category for life and insurance groups for the second year in a row, followed by Prudential.
