Former Davy Asset Management head of European distribution Doug Gordon has left the firm after two years to pursue a career in healing and life coaching after a near-death experience.
Gordon joined Dublin-based Davy AM in September 2015 from Columbia Threadneedle where he was an investment sales director for nine years. He has now decided to leave the industry to focus on his work in healing after suffering a near-death experience in 2012 as a result of complications from a bout of norovirus. This prompted him to scale back his workload and focus on learning about healing and alternative therapies.
