Lead manager of the Aberdeen UK Property fund Gerry Ferguson is set to retire at the end of the summer after 43 years investing in property.

Management of the Aberdeen UK Property fund will be passed to deputy lead fund manager Tim Sankey, according to a note to investors seen by Investment Week. Ferguson said: "I have had an amazing 43 years in the property industry. "I have weathered many market cycles on behalf of investors and witnessed the evolution of property as an asset class.
