Aberdeen Standard Investments has partnered with 21 Partners in a joint venture to launch a €1bn private equity fund.

21 Aberdeen Standard Investments (21ASI) will launch the Europe-focused fund later this year. It will aim to target active non-controlling interests with a focus on providing patient capital for the long term. The fund aims to support growth in companies without owners ceding majority stakes in their business. It will also help firms manage growth, potential industry disruption and challenges posed by succession.
