Carmignac has appointed Giorgio Ventura as its global head of sales after six years with the company.
Ventura joined Carmignac as head of Italy in 2012, a role which he will retain. He is also a member of the strategic development committee of Carmignac. He began his career as trader within the treasury team of Caboto Securities, Intesa Group, and more recently worked for eight years for Lehman Brothers in London and Milan, where he was executive director. He has also worked at Eurizon Capital.
