Hargreaves Lansdown has removed the Majedie UK Income fund from its Wealth 150, following the departure of Chris Reid who had managed the fund since 2011.
Reid joined the firm in 2008 to co-manage the long/short global equity Tortoise fund, which he ran until 2013 when he also took up management duties on the UK Focus fund. He officially leaves at the end of June to pursue a Masters in Finance degree at Judge Business School of Cambridge. The UK Income fund will now be led by Mark Wharrier alongside existing co-manager Yuri Khodjamirian and fund analysts Mike Totton and Emily Barnard.
