FundsNetwork: Global funds top seller as advisers look to diversify

US equity funds also perform well

Global funds saw the highest demand in April while there was a resurgence in sales of US equities, according to monthly data from FundsNetwork.

Based on adviser sales, global funds were the most popular during April followed by funds in the Mixed Investment 40%-85% Shares sector.  US equity funds jumped from eighth place in March to fifth place in April, despite fears of a trade war between the US and China.  The best-selling single fund was also an American fund in the form of Baillie Gifford American, while Vanguard US Equity Index sat in seventh place.
