Polar Capital sets out EM fund suite plans as it hires five-strong team

Polar Capital has expanded its firm with the hire of a five-strong emerging markets team, four of whom join from Nordea Asset Management in Denmark.

Jorry Rask Nøddekær previously ran nine funds at Nordea with over $6bn in assets under management. At Polar he will work as head of emerging markets and Asia and lead fund manager on a fund due to be launched in the third quarter of 2018.  Polar said the fund would be the first in a suite of emerging markets products for the firm.
