The CFA Institute has been selected to run female-focused internships aimed at creating more opportunities in finance and investment management, in partnership with Aviva.
In association with the Government of Canada, who hold this year's G7 presidency, the organisation and its global networks will establish a global internship programme focused on university women studying in select developing markets. It has been modelled on a similar program in India, called Young Women in Investment, which encourages women to consider careers in finance via a four week boot camp and three to six months of paid internships.
