Peter Thompson has returned to Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) as a managing director and head of its European ETF business.
Thompson previously spent more than ten years in various trading roles across the bank's securities division before serving as founder, president and interim CEO of ETF firm Source ETF, which was purchased by Invesco PowerShares in late 2016. Vanguard hires senior ETF sales specialist from ETF Securities In his new role, Thompson will be based in London and report to the head of GSAM's global ETF business Michael Crinieri.
