CASCAID, the industry-wide campaign to raise £1m for Great Ormond Street Hospital over the next 12 months, has already surpassed £300,000, including £100,000 raised at the June Gala Dinner.
The dinner was held at The Brewery in London on 21 June and saw hundreds of figures from across the asset management industry raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) - this year's chosen charity. Soprano singer Laura Wright performed for the audience free of charge, which helped bring the total fundraising figure for the night to just over £100,000. Combined with funds raised through other events such as BMO GAM's walk around the M25 which raised almost £40,000, the campaign has already surpassed the £300,000 mark.
