Hermes head of fixed income Andrew Jackson has said the Unconstrained Credit fund, which launched at the end of May, was "the most successful launch Hermes has seen", with assets under management already sitting at $249m, as the firm looks at expanding the range.
Managed by Jackson - who joined the firm in April last year from Cairn Capital - alongside Fraser Lundie, the fund was seeded with £185m from investors, including Quilter Multi-Asset. "Flows have been amazing," Jackson said. "We have seen interest from a lot of the big franchise platforms and there are several more coming in the next month…It is a very scaleable product."
