Legg Mason has expanded its fixed income offering with the launch of a "best ideas" global bond fund, based on a global unconstrained enhanced bond strategy managed by its subsidiary Brandywine Global since 2012.
The Dublin-domiciled Legg Mason Brandywine Global Enhanced Absolute Return fund seeks positive absolute returns, independent of market conditions, and aims to outperform the FTSE 3-Month T-Bill index by 600bps per year, net of fees, on a rolling 36-month basis.
