BlackRock portfolio manager Sidharth Mahapatra has been appointed co-manager of the £508m BGF India fund, alongside current manager and head of Asian and global emerging markets equities Andrew Swan.
Mahapatra, who works within the global emerging markets team, joined BlackRock's Hong Kong office in June from Amundi, and is responsible for managing the firm's India funds and India equities research.
