Brooks Macdonald has launched a responsible investment service as part of its centralised investment proposition.
The new service will be led by Ben Palmer, head of the responsible investment research team, and investment director Edward Park. It will feature two strategies, 'Avoid' and 'Advance', with the former taking an avoidance-based approach and the latter actively seeking to invest in funds that either provide solutions to sustainability issues or have strong corporate policies and outputs relating to environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria.
