AllianzGI plans double launch for multi-asset team in early 2019

Gavin Counsell, senior manager in the UK multi-asset team at Allianz Global Investors, has unveiled plans to launch two new multi-asset products early next year, Investment Week can reveal.

In his first interview since joining the firm from Aviva Investors earlier this year, Counsell said the team is aiming to launch an income and growth fund and a multi-strategy growth fund in the first half of 2019. "AllianzGI has provided multi-asset solutions for over 20 years and has been successful globally but has not quite established a footprint in the UK yet.
