Ellis to replace McKenzie as Fidelity's fixed income CIO

Stepping down from portfolio management

Fidelity International has named Steve Ellis as its new global CIO for fixed income, replacing Charles McKenzie who retires from the role at the end of 2018.

Ellis, who will step up to the role from 1 January 2019, will relinquish his current role as a portfolio manager in the firm's $6bn AUM emerging markets debt team, where he works across a range of strategies including local currency, sovereign, corporate and unconstrained approaches.
