Prime Minister Theresa May is facing a potential backlash from MPs over her draft Brexit deal, especially the proposals surrounding the Irish border, despite securing backing from Cabinet ministers following yesterday's five-hour meeting.

Cabinet ministers in the UK and EU ambassadors on the continent took over five hours to study the draft document, which counts 585 pages. Although the deal has been backed by Cabinet, the PM is not out of the woods yet, as she faces a grilling from MPs over the agreement, while there has been speculation there could still be a vote of no confidence in May and resignations from Cabinet could begin as early as today.
