Hermes Investment Management has expanded its global credit team with the appointment of Nachu Chockalingam, who joins as senior emerging market debt portfolio manager from Jupiter.
Chockalingam will help manage a number of existing emerging market allocations across the group's liquid credit strategies including the $386m Hermes Unconstrained Credit fund, which launched in May 2018. The fund invests in a range of global liquid credit areas such as emerging market debt, along with investment grade, high yield, convertibles, asset-backed securities and loans.
