Aviva Investors overhauls UK Growth fund and renames raft of mandates

Aviva Investors is restructuring its UK Growth fund and renaming a trio of UK and European equities funds following a review of the mandates.

The investment objective and policy of the Aviva Investors UK Growth fund is being amended as the managers turn their focus to opportunities in small- and medium-sized companies with growth, quality or recovery characteristics. The fund currently invests in UK large caps as well as medium- and smaller-sized companies. As of 2 January, the actively managed fund will invest mainly in FTSE 250, FTSE Small Cap and FTSE AIM companies with the latter's exposure restricted to a 20% maximum. Holdings in FTSE 100 stocks will also be limited to 20%. The fund's benchmark will change from the FTS...
