Artemis Investment Management has hired Antonia Stirling from Standard Life Aberdeen as co-head of stewardship.
Stirling will share the role with Inez Oliver, who joined Artemis in 2005, and will report to chief investment officer Peter Saacke. At Standard Life Aberdeen, Stirling was head of corporate stewardship, having joined the firm in 2010 from Deloitte. She is also an ambassador for industry diversity initiative The Diversity Project. Artemis said the Stirling's appointment would help the firm to strengthen and develop the firm's stewardship and ESG strategies.
