Jenny Jones to retire from Schroders

Jenny Jones, fund manager and head of the US small cap and US small and mid cap (SMID) equities team, will retire from Schroders later this year after 16 years at the firm.

Jones, whose investment career has spanned almost four decades, will continue in her role as fund manager and head of the team during the handover period until 31 March, and will be on hand in an advisory capacity for several months. Bob Kaynor, co-portfolio manager of the £814m US Smaller Companies and £1.6bn Schroders US Mid cap funds, will take over responsibility for the portfolios and will assume the role of head of US small cap and SMID equities.
