Riddell's Allianz Gilt Yield fund is most viewed in Square Mile's Academy of Funds

The £1.7bn Allianz Gilt Yield fund, managed by Mike Riddell, was the most viewed fund during Q4 2018 in Square Mile's Academy of Funds.

The fixed income fund, which Riddell has been running since 2015, with support from Kacper Brzezniak since 2017, took the top spot in the list of '50 most viewed active funds', according to the investment consulting and research provider's latest analytics report. Commenting on the reason behind this increased interest in the vehicle, James Glover, director of research and consulting operations at Square Mile, said this "perhaps reflected investor nervousness of markets".
