Rathbones adds to stewardship capabilities

Rathbones has bolstered its stewardship team with the appointment of Archie Pearson as governance and voting analyst.

In his new role, Pearson will be responsible for ensuring consistent and informed proxy voting and corporate engagement activities. He will report to Rathbones stewardship director Matt Crossman, who oversees news flow on companies, updating company profiles and analysing ethical issues. Pearson joins from microfinance investor Oikocredit where he spent just under three years as a client executive, working across capital raising, investor relations and business development.
