Saracen FM hires ex-Ignis manager to strengthen UK equity outfit

Saracen Fund Managers has expanded its UK equity team with the hire of former Ignis portfolio manager David Clark, who returns to fund management after five years.

Clark will take up portfolio management duties of the TB Saracen UK Alpha and TB Saracen UK Income funds alongside existing manager Scott McKenzie. When Ignis was bought by Standard Life in 2014, he served as a non-executive director of several listed companies. His new role marks his return to fund management.
