HSBC Global Asset Management has bolstered its UK wholesale team with four hires, including a business development head from Aviva Investors.

Fay Hendon joins as head of UK intermediary business development and will lead the firm's newly created telephone sales team dedicated to aiding intermediary clients with finding products and solutions, reporting to head of UK wholesale Daniel Rudd. Hendon previously headed up the advisory sales team at Aviva Investors and has held similar roles at AXA Investment Managers, Close Brothers, Gartmore and Deutsche Bank.
