CASCAID nears £1m target as more fundraising events revealed

New events include 24-hour karaoke session

CASCAID, the industry-wide initiative to raise £1m for Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) is edging closer towards its target well before its deadline, having now surpassed £925,000.

The campaign, which launched in June 2018 for its second run, after raising £2.35m for Cancer Research UK in 2017, has already seen hundreds of industry figures take part in challenges such as abseiling down 500ft buildings, dragon boat racing, a 24-hour ping pong-athon and a 141-mile walk around the M25. The fundraising surpassed £600,000 in October last year and is now on track to hit £1m very soon.  While the fundraising year was initially planned to run until June 2019, CASCAID has decided to extend its partnership with GOSH until the end of 2019 to accommodate a range of upcoming...
