Allianz GI hires head of EMEA business from UBS

Barbara Rupf Bee to join business

Allianz Global Investors has appointed Barbara Rupf Bee from UBS to head up its distribution function in the EMEA region.

She will take on her new role on the 15 May, reporting to Tobias Pross, who continued in this role on an interim basis following his appointment as global head of distribution in April 2018. She will also become a member of the executive committee. Rupf Bee joins the group from UBS, where she currently heads up wealth management in Germany. She previously held the role of head of EMEA global client group at Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management, with responsibility for distribution and business development.
