Mirova, an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers, is set to launch a thematic equity fund focusing on companies that are committed to promoting gender equality and increasing female representation in top-level roles.
The Mirova Women Leaders Equity fund will be managed by Soliane Varlet, who has 18 years of experience in asset management, 13 of which she has spent at the group. The vehicle will invest across a global universe of companies, selected based on a mixture of proprietary qualitative and quantitative analysis. The new strategy also follows the group's sustainability requirements and will seek to obtain an SRI label from a certification body.
