GAM set to appoint three women to board including former SYZ AM CEO

GAM is looking to appoint three new members to its board of directors including former CEO of Syz Asset Management Katia Coudray, former group general counsel of Janus Henderson Jacqui Irvine and former senior vice president at AIG Monika Machon.

GAM has proposed the election of the three women to the board following the decision of three current members - Diego du Monceau, Ezra S. Field and Monica Mächler - to not stand for re-election at the AGM on 8 May. Hugh Scott-Barrett has been proposed for re-election as chairman alongside Benjamin Meuli, Nancy Mistretta and David J. Jacob as members of the board. All of the proposals are subject to regulatory approval.
