Candriam has appointed Matthieu David to the newly created role of global head of financial institutions and partnerships as it aims to built on its distribution expansion over the past few years.
His new role will be an addition to his existing position as head of the group's Italian branch and is effective as of 1 April. David will coordinate the development of distribution activities for global financial institutions in all countries in which Candriam operates - Europe, North America and Asia - to increase its partnership with global banks and distribution companies. David has nearly 25 years of experience in the sector, and was head of external distribution for Italy at BNP Paribas Investment Partners prior to joining Candriam.
