J. Stern & Co has launched its first UCITS fund, a Luxembourg-domiciled version of its World Stars Global Equity strategy, which it said was in response to investor demand.
World Stars Global Equity is an unconstrained, high-conviction strategy that invests in 20 to 30 shares in leading global companies. Chief investment officer Christopher Rossbach and his team look for companies with "enduring competitive advantages and a long runway of growth", based on fundamental research that seeks quality and value characteristics over the long term. The private investment office, which is based in London and Zurich as a spinout of the Stern family business, was opened in 2012.
