Hawksmoor Investment Management has hired industry veteran Sarah Soar as its new chief executive, as founder and CEO John Crowley steps down from the role.

Soar will join the Exeter-based investment management firm once her "current contractual requirements permit" and subject to regulatory approval. She has 30 years' experience in the sector, with her most recent role being head of investment management at JM Finn. She was also previously the first female executive director on the Brewin Dolphin board based in London, having spent 18 years at the firm, and is on the board of PIMFA, according to her LinkedIn.
