Franklin Templeton has launched the third "buy and hold" sub fund of the Templeton Opportunities Funds (FTOF) range, with a focus on engaging underlying companies on ESG risks like carbon emissions and water usage.
The fixed maturity Franklin Green Target Income 2024 fund invests primarily in higher yielding, euro-denominated debt securities issued by corporations globally with a pre-determined yield at the time of investments over a five-year period.
