Allianz Global Investors (GI) has appointed Beatrix Anton-Groenemeyer to lead its continued sustainability focus.
Anton-Groenemeyer's previous role at the company was global head of product specialists for fixed income; she will be assuming her newly created role with immediate effect. Reporting directly to Andreas Utermann - CEO of AllianzGI - Anton-Groenemeyer will head up the long-term sustainability strategy. AllianzGI has €535bn in assets under management that is ESG informed, having worked on ESG investing since 2000.
