BNY Mellon IM hires ex-ASI Michael Beveridge

Head of UK investment distribution at Aberdeen Standard Investments Michael Beveridge has joined BNY Mellon Investment Management to "support it in its next phase of growth in the UK market," Investment Week can reveal.

Beveridge, who joins on 29 July as head of UK intermediary distribution, following several senior roles with ASI, where he most recently led the firm's investment business strategy across the UK. The appointment follows the April departure of head of UK and Ireland distribution at BNY Mellon IM Fergus McCarthy, who it was announced today (21 May) has joined Standard Life Aberdeen - ASI's parent company. Reporting to Hilary Lopez, head of European intermediary distribution, Beveridge will be responsible for driving the firm's strategy across discretionary, wealth management, retirement...
