Legal & General Investment Management's (LGIM) chief investment officer Anton Eser is leaving the firm and will be replaced by deputy CIO Sonja Laud.
Anton Eser has been CIO of LGIM since 2017, having previously been co-head of global fixed income at the firm. In a statement, LGIM said Eser is returning to South Africa where he intends to assume a more hands-on investing role, with an emphasis on social impact investing and ESG-focused investing in Africa.
