I don't know about you, but I find most investment industry events and conferences deadly dull.
Death by PowerPoint and verbal assault by quants utilising finely honed logarithmic charts as weapons, are usually the order of the day followed by a pedestrian panel discussion where everyone tries to avoid answering the actual question and instead talks about their amazing fund/project/firm.
