So as I said a couple of weeks ago I have just finished reading Peter Hargreaves' book In for a Penny about the rise and rise of Hargreaves Lansdown.
Before I tell you what I think about the book, let me declare that I did not pay for it and I was not sent a review copy by the publishers because they are as disorganised as many insurance companies – I got my copy direct from the man himself (not autographed, though!) Now, if you have ever met Peter or heard him speak, you will have an opinion of him. Probably along the lines of plain-speaking Northerner.
